  Today's topic is the following question: What does it mean to have faith       The New International Version is where I found this verse.    1 Corinthians 2:5    “So that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.”       What does 1 Corinthians 2:5 mean to me you ask? Well, what does it mean to you? Please share your interpretation of this verse!        [Waits for the audience to volunteer their interpretation of the verse]       To me, the first part where it says “so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom” asserts the second part of the verse where the end of the sentence says “but on God's power.” Human wisdom is untrustworthy because we are biased, we try to make the truth fit us instead of us fitting the truth. I'm on Upwork Now!

 Hello, and welcome! My name is Minister Jake G. and I am here with yet another post this morning!  So, my most recent exciting news is that I made a post on Upwork selling my services by tier level as packages for the gigs I do well at. I also applied to other jobs I think that I would be fairly good at! I am always grateful, never complacent.  The number one thing I am grateful for is the love of my mother and the rest of my family. When they tell you to "respect your elders," they even mean when they tell you to "knock it off," when you're a smoker by telling you to "quit smoking," they truly care about you. I quit this morning at 12AM, and today's a new day! My last cigarette was roughly just before midnight from lighting it to finishing the last drag. I will not miss the smokers' cough, I will tell you that much! How do I quit such a hefty habit you may ask?  Deep breathing, music, relaxation and prayer! I attend NA just for being a cigare...

"Can we meditate while smoking a cigarette?" This is the question one Zen Monk asked the grand master one day. The question should be: "can I smoke a cigarette while meditating?" The answer is actually yes, you actually can! The truth about smoking cigarettes is however, is that you would be practicing materialism via the means of addiction to nicotine.
